Danielle Stone
I have 25 years of experience working in a range of settings with children aged from six months, up to their teenage years, and their families. I work in special educational needs as a SEND Support Practitioner and SENCO Assistant..
With a degree in childhood and youth studies, I continued my professional development by taking short courses to develop my understanding of neurodivergence and developed a specific interest in Dyslexia. From here I trained as a specialist Dyslexia practitioner and hold qualifications in psychometric educational testing. I am able to offer assessment for exam access arrangements, and educational psychometric testing.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time walking in the natural environment, baking, and spending time with my family and friends.

I specialise in dyscalculia assessments, support, and confidence-building maths training. My career has taken me through a wide range of educational roles, from classroom teaching to senior leadership. I've worked as a secondary mathematics teacher, an Advanced Skills Maths Teacher, a Mathematics Advisor, and have also served as an Assistant Head, Deputy Head, and Centre Manager.

I have taught in mainstream schools, special schools, and pupil referral units, and these varied experiences have given me a deep understanding of how differently children, young people, and adults learn — and how powerful personalised support can be.

My approach is warm, friendly, and completely tailored to each individual. Whether you’re seeking a full dyscalculia assessment or ongoing specialist support, my aim is to make every step clear, comfortable, and confidence-boosting.

I am passionate about helping people transform their relationship with maths and discover that, with the right guidance, it can feel manageable — even enjoyable.
